Submitting evidence

  • Evidence could be photographs, videos, Social Action journals, Learning Logs, Word documents, Powerpoint presentations etc.  Keep an eye out for more information about how and when to send evidence to us via our Facebook page.
  • Please return any evidence to Kent Children's University by Friday 20th September 2019 via email (preferred) or post via kcu@theeducationpeople.org or Kent Children's University, Sessions House, County Road, Maidstone, Kent, ME14 1XQ.

  • Please only send evidence upon completion of all the activities you wish to submit.  You could make a Powerpoint, Word file or some other collated document to evidence the completed activities.  Please make sure you also submit the Record Sheet with the evidence too.

  • Original evidence will be posted back to you along with the Learning Credits to stick in the child's Passport to Learning. 

  • We would love to see what you have completed with your children so do upload any evidence to our Social Media accounts (you do not have to add your children in the photographs)!

 

Specific Challenge activity support materials

 

  • Activity 2 - Enter the RSPB WildArt competition:  You can find out all the informaiton about this competition here.  Please note that the competition closes on the 16th August.

 

  • Activity 7 - Participate in a Marine Conservation Society Beach Clean:  Here is the Vounteer Beach Clean Survey sheet.

 

  • Activity 8 - Take part in a Discover in a Day Arts Award activity: You can find the downloadable log here.  

 

  • If your child completes the Log but does not get it assessed, it will be 1 Learning Credit.  Your child can collect the 4 Learning Credits if their Log is assessed or they have participated in a Discover in a Day session. The following organisations are currently able to assess Logs:

  • Activity 9 - Get involved with the 10 Minute Shake Up!:   You can find out more about the 10 Minute Shake Up hereHere is the Physical Activity log.

 

  • Activity 10 - Take part in Social Action projects and keep a ournal of evidence:  Here is the Social Action Journal.

 

  • Activity 13 - Take part in the Explore Kent walking challenge with your family:  Here is the link for the Junior Walking certificated walks.

 

 

  • Activity 20 - Visit at least one Wheels of time site:  If the site is Validated and listed on the Wheels of Time website, CU website map/App, there will be activities available onsite and the venues will issue 2 Learning Credits.  These are the support materials for those NON-Validated Wheels of Time sites. 

 

  • Activity 21 - Take part in the RNLI Swim Safe sessions:  All the information about the Swim Safe sessions is here.

 

  • Activity 24 - Complete the Summer activities for the Year of Green Action Challenge:  You can find the Year of Green Action Challenge here.

 

General Challenge activity support materials

  • Social Action Journal - You can use this journal to document Social Action activities such as campaigning, fundraising and volunteering.  You could use the journal to help you evidence your involvement ina number of the Spring #KCUChallenge activities.  You can find out more about Social Action and our #iwll Pledge in this document too.

 

  • Learning Log - If you would like to use this log to record your activities, please do but you can be creative in how you share your information with us!
